Man charged in Burlington prescription-drug burglary

BURLINGTON — Police have charged a Burlington man with breaking and entering and larceny at the Medical Village Apothecary, 1610 Vaughn Road, late Saturday .
Police responded to a burglar alarm at the business shortly before midnight and found Danny Ray Lee Hunt , 58, of 622 Georgia Ave., in a car behind the building.
Police said they recovered a large quantity of prescription drugs and burglary tools from Hunt’s vehicle.
He’s being held in the Alamance County Jail under $5,000 bond.
