Fesley and Lois Ellis of McLeansville, NC are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Jean Ellis of Cary, NC to Raymond Alfred Smith, III of Clemmons, NC. Raymond is the son of Ray and Donna Smith of Abbeville, SC, formerly of Clemmons, NC. A romantic evening is planned for October 10, 2009 on Folly Beach, SC in front of the Morris Island Lighthouse.
