In February, I lost my job so I was really down.
I was at Food Lion on Golden Gate Drive spending what was left of my final paycheck. I was in line and realized I did not have enough money to buy everything in my basket.
This beautiful, wonderful angel was in line behind me watching me choose which items my family could do without until my unemployment kicked in. I ended up having to put back about $30 worth of items.
The lady, who had waited so patiently as I sorted through items I had to put back, had the cashier put the items with her groceries and paid for them.
I was so overwhelmed with emotion I just started crying at the thought that this woman who did not know me from Adam would be so generous and thoughtful and did not have a second thought about helping a stranger.
I did not get her name, but I hope she knows what a wonderful blessing she was to me and my family, and I also wanted her to know that I did pay it forward.
Her big act of kindness helped renew my faith in humanity. I had no idea God would introduce me to an angel in person. What a blessing to actually meet one.
