Keener - Ballini

Shelby Lyn Keener and Claudio Ballini were united in marriage on April 18, 2009, at the Tanger Family Bicentennial Gardens in Greensboro, North Carolina. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Susan D. Kennedy.

The bride is the daughter of George W. and Judith Ann Keener of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The groom is the son of Carlo and Fausta Ballini of Rezzato, Italy and Greensboro, North Carolina.

Kara Turk and Jayme Lenniger served as matrons of honor; both are sisters of the bride. The flowers girls were Lilah and Kacey Turk, nieces of the bride.

Robert Powell served as the best man.

A luncheon reception followed at the Proximity Hotel.

On May 16, 2009, a second reception was hosted by the groom's parents. The couple celebrated with family and friends at Casa Rocca, Palazzo Gambara, in Bedizzole, Italy. Following the festivities, the couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Italy.

The bride is a Technical Designer, and groom is a Manufacturing Project Manager / Logistics; both are employed at Kayser-Roth Corporation. The couple will reside in Greensboro.
