Clapp - 50th Wedding Anniversary

Dr. and Mrs. John Garland Clapp, Jr. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 30th. John and Gladys (Cobb) were married on May 30, 1959 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Ervin officiating. They have three children - son Randal (Jennifer) Clapp, daughter Lisa Phelps and son Keith (Cindy) Clapp. John and Gladys have six grandchildren - Brittany Phelps, Katelyn (Adam) Michael, Melissa Phelps, Megan Clapp, Matthew Clapp and McKenzie Clapp. They have two great-grandchildren Braxton Phelps-Viega and Kylie Michael.
