My husband and I were preparing to move my 90-year-old mother and sister-in-law to Greensboro from Reidsville after my father-in-law’s passing so that they could live closer to us.
We found a condo, but it needed quite a bit of work before we could move them in.
Chuck Scott lives two condos down and noticed what we were trying to do. We would show up each day to work on the condo, and no matter how early we arrived, Chuck was already there doing cabinets, wiring and painting and expecting nothing in return.
He continues to put the morning paper right by the door, and always wants to know if he can be of any help in any way. God truly sent us an angel when he brought Chuck into our lives.

I appreciate the kindness and friendship of a neighbor, Joe Brown.
He looks out for me and three of my neighbors every day. Joe brings our paper to our door and our garbage containers to our house every pickup day. His kindness to us is heartfelt and is appreciated.
