Burlington man faces statutory rape, indecent liberties charges
BURLINGTON — A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicions of sexual misconduct with two girls younger than 16.
The Alamance County Sheriff's Office said Timothy Wade Allen of 2111 N.C. 49 North was arrested Tuesday. He has been charged with one count of statutory rape of a child and two counts of indecent liberties with a child. Allen's bond was set at $200,000.
The sheriff's office said the incident was reported last week by the county's Department of Social Services. The alleged incidents took place over the past several months in northern Alamance County. The sheriff's office did not identify the two victims.
