My prayer would be this: That all people of the world would find understanding and compassion in each other; that the blessings of life would be abundant for all; and that all may live with the peace that passes all understanding.

My prayer is for an awakening in Jesus’ name. Awaken to God, His way, His word, a relationship with Him.

Our Lord told us long ago that “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” So that is my daily prayer, not just on the National Day of Prayer: That we, as a nation, would actually humble ourselves and turn back to the Almighty God, asking forgiveness of our evil ways and seek to live a new life in His will.

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: I pray for peace in the world; understanding and love with kindness and respect for all of God’s children and the same for all His little critters in the world. I pray for everyone to know The Golden Rule (Do unto others as you would have others do unto you). I pray to see evil overcome with good. This is a beautiful world that our Father in heaven gave us; therefore, let us keep it that way on our sojourn to our eternal home.
Lord, I humbly ask of you to hear my prayer. Amen.

My prayers are daily to God to continue to bless my family, children and grandchildren; continue to watch over my husband and I as we travel a bit and to please bring this nation back to Him as a Christian one. I know He is in control and although I don’t understand all that happens, as I can see only a part of the puzzle, God sees the big picture. And I know how the “book” ends.

On National Day of Prayer and everyday, I will be praying for those who have fallen on hard times, lost their jobs and/or their homes. I pray that the Lord will give them everything they need to survive and I pray they will know through God’s word what they need to get through and get back on their feet. I will pray for those overseas still fighting a battle that is not theirs. I will be praying that all will find peace, love, kindness, forgiveness, compassion and prosperity through God’s word.

It only takes a few moments. ... A few moments could save a child’s life. A few moments could prevent countless jobs from being lost. A few moments could bring healing in the body of someone stricken with cancer. All it takes is a few moments to pray, yet the results can change lives and change the world. Your prayers make a difference. Together let’s make the world a better place through prayer.

I lift up President Obama: I pray Lord you give him and Congress wisdom of God, strength, courage and discernment in leading our nation and every decision they make on behalf of the people of America. I pray for Gov. Perdue and the leaders of North Carolina and ask you equip each one of them to make Godly decisions for the people here as well. I pray your kingdom come and your will be done in North Carolina and in America as it is in heaven

My prayer is that every elected official from our president down to our local leaders are praying for guidance and direction as they all make decisions that are affecting us. We all should be praying for our country because God knows we need it!

I pray now that America will turn to God for guidance and leave our evil ways behind. I pray for healing and forgiveness of our sins. I pray for His guidance, divine intervention and grace. I pray for the rights of unborn babies, women and children around the world. I pray for a foreign policy which will make our nation strong not weak. I also pray for those who are unemployed that they will find jobs or skills so they can be providers for their families. Most importantly I pray for God’s mercy and His grace.
