Our biggest submission — 63 hand-written tributes — came from third graders at Brooks Global Studies. The students’ tributes ranged from a few sentences to full-page front and back.

Most included common themes — gratitude for moms who provide love, shelter, food (home-cooked and McDonald’s), taking them shopping or buying things for them and helping them with school work.

Many included priceless additional sentiments, too. Here is a sampling:
