Road closed in Greensboro after wreck

GREENSBORO — A section of Creek Ridge Road will remain closed, possibly as late as 11 a.m., following a car wreck early this morning, police said.
At 2:14 a.m., a single-car wreck occurred at 501 Creek Ridge Road. The vehicle struck a pole, causing it to fall into the street.
The driver was not injured, Greensboro police said in a statement.
Creek Ridge Road is closed in both directions between Teague Street and Randleman Road so crews from Duke Energy can repair the pole.
