Retailer offers discount for Circuit City gift cards
Appliance and electronics retailer hhgregg said Tuesday it will give $50 off purchases of $299 or more to customers who have Circuit City credit cards or gift cards of any value.
The promotion ends May 31.
Customers can only receive one discount per transaction in stores. The discount will not be available at www.hhgregg.com.
Circuit City filed for bankruptcy last year and has liquidated all of its stores.
"We realize that many customers still have gift cards and credit cards, and we want to be able to provide a value for those customers and an opportunity to experience our selection," Jeff Pearson, vice president of marketing at hhgregg, stated in a news release.
