LIBERTY — Deputies arrested a man after finding drugs, guns and cash in his home Tuesday.
The Alamance County Sheriff's Office said Terry Michael Shoffner, 45, is being held in the county jail on a $13,000 bond. He faces 11 charges, including two felony counts of possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver.
On Tuesday, deputies from Alamance and Randolph counties and an agent from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms executed a search warrant at 7973 County Line Road.
The Alamance sheriff's office said authorities seized about 6.5 pounds of marijuana, 34 doses of hydrocodone (which is often marketed as Vicodin), two doses of meperidine (often marketed as Demerol), $5,204 in cash and approximately 25 handguns and long guns. Deputies also seized scales and other undisclosed drug paraphernalia.
More charges are pending, the sheriff's office said.
