This month's Style Cents (.pdf): Dressing for a job interview
I recently joined fashion consultant Beth Sartore, author of the column Style Cents, on a bargain-hunting trip at the Jamestown United Methodist Church Outreach Thrift Center, 711 Teague Drive.
"I like to shop at the charity stores because I'm also helping the community," Sartore says.
She chose a Mossimo sweater and an Apostrophe vest for $3 each and a Coach handbag for $1.50. A later check for a similar purse on the Coach Web site revealed it sold for $348 new, Sartore says.
Listen to her tips for shopping at thrift stores.
