Teen dies after Dec. wreck in Greensboro

GREENSBORO — A teenager hit by a car on Dec. 30 died from his injuries on Saturday, according to police.
Damien Mebane, 16, was leaving the Lil Wayne concert at the Greensboro Coliseum shortly after midnight when he was struck by a 1995 Buick Regal traveling north on Freeman Mill Road, police said.
The driver, William Clark Adams, 29, of Greensboro, was not charged with any crimes.
