Davidson (26-6) led 44-34 at halftime with Curry playing only 10 minutes due to foul trouble. Appalachian State (13-18) pulled within 56-55 with 10:42 to go, but the Wildcats responded with a 10-0 run.
Curry's 43 points is the third-highest individual performance in SoCon tournament history and the most since Marshall's Skip Henderson scored 55 in 1988.
