GREENSBORO - The American Psychological Association has presented Replacements Ltd. with its 2009 Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award.

The award, given Sunday night in Washington, recognizes businesses that promote employee health and well-being.

"We are so proud to receive this award because it truly validates all we're doing to create an environment where all associates feel valued and accepted," Bob Page, Replacements' founder and CEO, said in a press release. "So many of our employees have told me about working places where they didn't feel comfortable because those employers concentrated more on their lifestyle or other aspects of their life."

Replacements, one of five employers across North America to receive the honor, carries the world's largest selection of old and new china, crystal, silver and collectibles.

The company is headquartered in Greensboro.
