Jonathan Belk, 37, is wanted by Greensboro police on a charge of felony conversion.

Officers say on Dec. 29 they were called to Battleground Kia on a report of obtaining property by false pretense. A woman purchased a 2003 Hyundai Sonata but failed to make a down payment. Employees said they were not able to contact the woman, and she no longer lived at the address she provided.

Officers located her at her job, and she said her husband, Belk, had the car. When contacted, Belk refused to return the car. The vehicle was later located, and warrants were issued for Belk's arrest.

He is a black man, 5 feet 11 inches tall weighing 300 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, an amputated lower leg and wears a prosthetic. His last known address is 1747 McKnight Mill Road.

Gwendolyn Sledge, 26, is wanted by Greensboro police on a charge of felony larceny by an employee.

Officers say on July 4, they went to Burlington Coat Factory on High Point Road on a report of larceny. A manager said he caught one of his employees stealing. He said he saw a sales associate, Sledge, go to the front of the store and set off the security sensors. The manager had her go to his office and found she had hidden clothes under her jacket. She was arrested but failed to appear in court.

She is a black woman, 5 feet 9 inches tall weighing 210 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Her last known address is 2707-B Four Seasons Blvd.
