Local singer wins two Grammy awards

Anthony Dean Griffey of High Point won two Grammy awards on Sunday: Best Classical Album and Best Opera Recording
The album that won in both categories was "Weill: Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny" and included James Conlon, conductor; Anthony Dean Griffey, Patti LuPone and Audra McDonald; Fred Vogler, producer; and the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra.
