Police seek man in armed robbery

GREENSBORO — Police arrested one man and are searching for a second after the CVS store at 309 E. Cornwallis Drive was robbed early Saturday morning.

After a Greensboro police officer saw two people riding away from the store on bicycles, police dogs found Timothy Lynn Carmack, 17, in a garbage can at 2109 Hubbard St., about three blocks away from the store. Carmack's address and bond information were unavailable Sunday.

Police said they are still looking for 24-year-old Johnathan Christian Gainey. Police provided no address or description.

The incident happened at 12:20 a.m. Saturday. Police did not say how much money was stolen. No injuries were reported.
