GREENSBORO — Country-pop star Taylor Swift has included a Greensboro show on her 52-date tour announced today.

Swift announced on her Web site that she will play a Greensboro show on June 12. Her only other North Carolina stop is in Charlotte on Sept. 5.

Swift's albums "Fearless" and her self-titled album sold 3.7 million copies in 2008, making her the biggest-selling musical artist in the United States last year.

Billboard.com reports that the opening act for all shows will be North Carolina native Kellie Pickler and new act Gloriana.

Ticket prices and their on-sale date were not immediately available.

I'm going to see the opening act, Kellie Pickler, from right here in North Carolina.

I've seen both of them in concert, and both are great. Both Taylor and Kellie are warm and personable if you get a chance to meet them. And they both know how to keep the crowds entertained.

But Kellie is my girl. I've been following her career since her American Idol days, and I can't wait to see her.
