3 charged with posting explicit photos of child to MySpace
Three people face charges in Davidson County after sexually explicit photographs of a 10-year-old girl were found on the Web site MySpace.
The Davidson County Sheriff's Office received a tip about the photos on Dec. 30 and confirmed that between August and Dec. 31, the photographs were posted to three MySpace accounts, according to a news release. Three suspects were charged, and all were arrested this week.
Shawn Alan Wood, 39, of 2073 Swicegood Road in Linwood is charged with three counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a child. Wood also faces charges of assault on a female and sexual battery regarding an incident with a 17-year-old girl, the sheriff's office said.
Amanda Dawn Wingler, 28, is charged with two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a child. Tommy Wayne Wingler, 37, is charged with two counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a child. They both live at the same address as Wood.
Wood was held in jail on a $25,000 bond; Amanda and Tommy Wingler were held on $500 each.
