GREENSBORO - Authorities released more composite sketches Tuesday in the homicide investigation of a Whitsett store owner.
Bobby Lee Taylor, 69, was killed Dec. 7 during a robbery at Taylor's Store at 1610 N.C. 61 South in Whitsett, according to the Guilford County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators are trying to identify a man who was with a green sedan seen at the store about the time Taylor was killed.
The sheriff's office said it has interviewed regular store patrons, who say they could not identify the man or the vehicle.
On Dec. 17 , deputies released another sketch of a man they are calling a person of interest in the case who was seen in the store prior to the homicide.
The sheriff's office described him as white, in his late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 10 to 5 feet 11 inches tall with a short, black goatee, a beard with one to two days of growth and long, black sideburns.
He also had dark eyebrows and a thin nose and weighed about 175 pounds. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt with a hood and a gray toboggan.
Anyone with information about the homicide or the possible identities from the sketches is urged to call the Guilford County Sheriff's Office at 641-3690 or Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.
Crime Stoppers callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000.
The North Carolina Governor's Office also is offering a reward up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
