GREENSBORO - A man was arrested after probation officers and police found drugs, a gun and almost $10,000 in counterfeit money at his place, police said.
Probation and parole officers working in Guilford County were doing a routine visit to Marcus Williamson, 30, of 2411 Madre Place on Thursday evening when they found some narcotics, according to police.
They called for police help ,and the officers found a stolen firearm and $9,820 in counterfeit currency.
Williamson was charged with possessing more than five counterfeit instruments, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon and drug charges.
He was held in the Greensboro jail on Friday in lieu of $10,000 bond.
