WINSTON-SALEM — A homeowner stopped a teen coming out of his home Thursday, then held him until police arrived.

Winston-Salem police said 31-year-old Othiel Dobson returned home at 4:35 p.m. to find two young men behind his house in the 500 block of Kinard Drive. He then saw a third person coming out of a window.

Two of the suspects ran off, but Dobson grabbed the third one. Police charged Cedric Crockett, 16, of 1042 N. Cleveland Ave., with one count of breaking and entering. His bond was set at $5,000.

Police said they think they know the identities of the other two suspects.
