Greensboro real estate company makes new acquisition
GREENSBORO - Local real estate company Steven D. Bell & Co. has added to its extensive property holdings in the metro Atlanta area by buying an apartment community
Bell bought the 206-unit Post Lenox Park property from Post Properties Inc. for approximately $23 million. It's located in Atlanta's prestigious Buckhead neighborhood.
"We continue to have confidence in the ongoing growth in the Atlanta area and are pleased to add another upscale Atlanta area property to our portfolio," said Nickolay Bochilo, Bell Vice President of Capital/Transactions. The company currently oversees about 30 multi-family properties in Georgia, including 24 in metro Atlanta.
The latest acquisition brings Steven D. Bell & Co.'s property portfolio value to about $5 billion. That includes 55,000 apartments, 28 senior-living communities and more than 5 million square feet of retail and office space.
