GREENSBORO -- Robert Johnson, who was 9-of-10 shooting, scored 21 points and N.C. A&T defeated Tennessee Wesleyan 84-47 on Monday night.
N.C. A&T (6-8) was 19 of 33 from the field in the opening half, while the Bulldogs (5-6) shot poorly throughout the game. Tennessee Wesleyan shot 27.9 percent from the field (19 of 68), including a 1-for-13 performance from leading scorer Jesse Booher (12.75 points per game).
The Aggies, who had 30 fast-break points, scored 29 points off of 16 Bulldogs' turnovers.
A&T outrebounded the Bulldogs 50-36 as Nicholas Wilson led the way for the Aggies with 10.
Tavarus Alston scored 15 points, Ed Jones and Nic Simpson added 10 apiece and Thomas Coleman had six blocks for the Aggies.
Reggie Jackson and Wes Suiter paced Tennessee Wesleyan with eight points each.

NEBRASKA 81, FLORIDA A&M: Sek Henry scored a season-high 19 points to lead three Nebraska players in double figures, and the Cornhuskers finished nonconference play with a 81-56 victory over Florida A&M on Monday night.
Cookie Miller and Henry hit 3-pointers to put Nebraska up 27-13 with 7 minutes left in the first half, and the Huskers never led by fewer than 12 points the rest of the way.
SOUTH CAROLINA 78, WOFFORD 61: Devan Downey scored 17 points to lead South Carolina in a 78-61 win against Wofford on Monday night.
Brandis Raley-Ross added 14 points and Mike Holmes and Austin Steed chipped in with 10 apiece for the Gamecocks (11-2), who won their last non-conference game before beginning Southeastern Conference play against Auburn on Jan. 10.
