WINST0N-SALEM - A man robbed a Bojangles restaurant before it opened early this morning after a delivery driver mistakenly let him inside, police said.
About 4:40 a.m. Friday, employees inside the restaurant at 3300 N. Patterson Ave. were preparing to open when a driver making deliveries let someone inside, according to Winston-Salem police.
The man produced a handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
He left through the south entrance.
Police described him as black, 5 feet 9 inches tall with short, black hair and weighing 150 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing with a hood.
Police ask people with information to call Crimestoppers at 727-2800.
