'Most wanted' suspect arrested today
GREENSBORO - A Crimestoppers tip led to the arrest this morning of a woman wanted by police on drug charges.
Police arrested Marcia Nelson Hernandez, 31, at 320 E. McColloch St. on Monday morning. She was held in the Greensboro jail in lieu of $8,000 bond. Hernandez was featured in the News & Record's Most Wanted listing in today's newspaper.
Hernandez was arrested on Sept. 22 and failed to appear in court on drug possession charges. She was arrested after telling police she knew of a man who was smoking crack while looking after a child.
Police found the man at Greensboro Inn. He didn't have a child with him, but they found a crack pipe, two bags that appeared to contain crack, and marijuana. Hernandez was charged in connection with those items.
