GREENSBORO - A man wanted on several felony charges was captured in Alamance County, where he fled after he saw his name and picture in the newspaper.
Greensboro police said they arrested Quinton Lamar Johnson, 20, at a cousin's home in Alamance County today.
Johnson was featured in the Nov. 10 edition of "Guilford County's Most Wanted," which runs each Monday in the News & Record.
He is the 66th suspect to have been apprehended, found or turned themselves in since the weekly feature began in February.
Police said they wanted Johnson in connection with a Sept. 13 robbery of a fast-food worker making a bank deposit and in two separate shootings of another man.
Johnson was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm by a felon, aiding and abetting larceny, two counts of felony conspiracy and three counts of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.
He is being held in the Guilford County jail on a $100,000 bond.
