Jody Pendleton, 33, is wanted by Greensboro police on charges of obtaining property by false pretense.

Officers say Pendleton goes by the alias "Steven Blankenship" and tells victims he owns multiple contracting companies under the name Stradyx. He then convinces them to form a partnership with him to purchase and renovate property. He takes the victims' money and disappears, police say. Since June, detectives say he defrauded at least two victims of a total of $45,500. Police believe he may have changed to another alias to continue to commit fraudulent acts.

Pendleton is a white man, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 175 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address is 2224-G Spring Garden St.

Michael Wrenn, 23, is wanted by Greensboro police on charges of assault inflicting serious injury.

Officers say on June 10, they responded to 2912 W. Florida St. regarding a domestic dispute. Once they arrived, they could hear a woman screaming "No, no, don't hit me" and crying and a man yelling. Officers determined the woman was being beaten and strangled by Wrenn. The woman had a bruise on her face, a swollen eye, a cut lip and bruises to her neck. Wrenn failed to appear in court on related charges.

Wrenn is as a black man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 137 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

His last known address is 1507 Dorsey St.
