WINSTON-SALEM — Two 16-year-olds have been arrested after the robbery of a pizza delivery driver earlier this month.
Winston-Salem police said the two teens were each charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and are being held in the Forsyth County jail on bonds of $225,000.
Police identified them as Eric Carlyle Farmer Jr. of 1241 Shouse Boulevard and Jamel Rashad Tate of 4385 Grove Ave.
The arrests followed the Nov. 6 robbery of Maurice Williams of Kernersville, who works for a Domino's Pizza in Walkertown. Police said Williams was making a delivery to 1201 Victoria St. when three men approached him.
One of the suspects was armed with a rifle, which Williams grabbed. But in doing so, Williams dropped his food bag, which one of the suspects grabbed as he fled.
A third suspect remains at large, and police said they are continuing to investigate this incident.
