Teen wanted in Greensboro homicide
Police are looking for a teenage suspect in the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man Saturday.
Rashawd Terrell Welch, 17, is wanted on a charge of first-degree murder in connection with a homicide today on Hidden Forest Drive, police said in a news release.
Welch is described as a black man, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 240 pounds. Police said he was last seen wearing a long white T-shirt and blue jeans. He is considered armed and dangerous.
At 5 p.m. today, police officers responded to a report of a shooting at 1704 Hidden Forest Drive. They found Matthew Lamarkus Brown suffering from a gunshot wound. Brown was taken to Moses Cone Hospital where he later died.
