The UNCG department of political science will host a free public lecture tonight titled "Congressional Elections 2008: Another Democratic Wave?"
Davidson College political science professor Patrick Sellers will give the lecture at 7:30 p.m. in the Weatherspoon Art Museum Auditorium at the corner of Spring Garden and Tate streets.
Sellers concentrates his studies on the U.S. Congress, politics, new media and theories of persuasion, among other related areas.
The lecture is the second of three in a series that the UNCG political science department and Center for Legislative Studies is holding this fall. The next lecture is a post-election analysis on Nov. 19 with Alan Abramowitz of Emory University titled "The Presidential Election 2008: What Happened and Why?”. Information: 334-4360
