GREENSBORO - Two children were treated for minor injuries after someone shot a BB gun into a school bus window Thursday morning, school officials said.

At around 8:30 a.m. the bus was traveling on E. Market Street near the intersection of Marshall Street when someone shot out a bus window, said Lekan Oguntoyinbo, a spokesman for Guilford County Schools.

Two students were treated on the scene for minor scrapes caused by the broken glass, he said.

Oguntoyinbo said police told school officials they had two suspects in the crime and an arrest was made Friday.

The suspect's arrest information was not immediately available.

The bus had 32 students on board and was en route to Hairston Middle School when the shooting occurred.
