RALEIGH (AP) — N.C. State says former President Bill Clinton will speak at the school in January, a week after a new president is inaugurated.

The college announced that Clinton will talk about America's future following the presidential election. His Jan. 26 speech will be titled "The Way Forward." The free, public event will be at 10:30 a.m. at Reynolds Coliseum on the Raleigh campus.

The former first lady, Sen. Hillary Clinton, was defeated by Sen. Barack Obama in an extended and bitter Democratic primary campaign. Both Clintons are now working on behalf of her former opponent.

On Tuesday, President Clinton was with former President George H.W. Bush, touring Gulf Coast communities hit hard this hurricane season.
