Theresa Lynn Diana and Nathan Miller Myers were married at five o'clock in the evening on October 11, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church, Greensboro, North Carolina. The Reverend David Partington and The Reverend John Kimmons, both of Greensboro, officiated. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Starmount Forest Country Club. On Friday evening, the parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner in the Pavilion Room at the O'Henry Hotel.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Diana of Greensboro. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Z. Fortney of Wilmington, DE and the late Mr and Mrs. Lawrence E. Diana of Lincoln Park, NJ. She is a graduate of Page High School and a Cum Laude graduate of North Carolina State University. She earned a BA degree in Interpersonal Communications and is currently a Travel Representative for EDS in Raleigh, NC.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Myers of Mooresville, NC. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Miller of Lancaster, PA, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wiersma of Lititz, PA, and the late Mr. Gaylord Myers, and Mrs. Gaylord Myers of New Castle, PA. He is a graduate of Mooresville Senior High School and North Carolina State University. He earned a BS degree in Marketing and is a Consulting Manager for Sageworks, Inc. in Raleigh, NC.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attended by her sister, Marianne Diana, as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Brittanie Hopkins Coleman of Burgaw, NC, Kathleen Callahan of Rock Hill, SC, Elena Sanos of Richmond, VA, junior bridesmaid Jennifer Riley Bridges of Suwanee, GA, cousin of the bride and flower girl Julia Fortney Bridges of Suwanee, GA, cousin of the bride. Honorary bridesmaids were Andi Hammond of Greensboro, NC and Sarah Stoneman of Raleigh, NC.
The groom chose his brother, Justin James Myers as best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Gross of Morgantown, WV, Graham Shalvoy of Denver, CO and Brooks Stout of Atlanta, GA.
Guests were greeted by Suzanne Weaver of Raleigh, NC and Jessica Modeen of Raleigh, NC. Susan Pardue of Eventually Yours served as the wedding planner.
Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Raleigh, NC.
