Persons of interest named in Reidsville homicide
REIDSVILLE — Police have named four persons of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of a local man on Sept. 25.
Reidsville police said today they are: Anthony Percell, 25, of Greensboro; Donald Vaneaton, 22, of Lincoln Street in Reidsville; and Oliver Watlington, 42, of Washington Avenue in Reidsville, and Wayne Lee, 23, of Terry Street in Reidsville.
Police said they want to interview them but did not say they were suspects in the fatal shooting of Lawrence "Lee-Lee" Hayes last month. Police have not filed charges against them.
Hayes, 20, was fatally shot in the head on Washington Avenue on Sept. 25. An acquaintance, Eric Quinell Turner Jr., 22, suffered a leg wound.
Police ask people with information to call Det. Greg Harris at 347-2335, Lt. Wendell Neville at 347-2343 or police at 349-1010.
