Castle of Horror and Cannibal Creek open Friday night. If you enjoy horror shows as my teenagers do, then you don't want to miss this opening weekend. And bring some canned food to get a discount on admission.

The Reidsville Fall Festival happens Saturday with all the bells and whistles. Fine arts, pottery, a car show, crafts, food vendors, live music, children's activities and shopping. Whew! What a list of stuff to do!

And a charity bike ride takes place Saturday to benefit CrimeStoppers of Rockingham County. What a glorious time of year to hop on the motorcycle for a great cause. Sponsored by the Criminal Justice Department at Rockingham Community College, the ride will start at the Whitcomb Student Center and end at Wolf Creek Harley Davidson with lunch.
