BURLINGTON — A Snow Camp woman has been arrested in connection with a home invasion that injured two people last week.
Burlington police arrested Amy Elizabeth Carroll, 27, of 6421 Cotton Road, on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon. She is being held on a $75,000 bond at the Alamance County jail.
Police said Carroll is one of two suspects in the attack of Guillermo Valdez, 41, and Cesar Morales, 40, on Sept. 25.
Both were both at their home in the 1000 block of Fix Street at 9 p.m. when two people entered through an unlocked door. One of the suspects had a club and a knife, and he struck both residents with the club. The suspects demanded money, then left. Police did not say how much cash was taken.
Valdez and Morales were treated at Alamance Regional Medical Center for minor injuries sustained during the robbery.
Police said the armed suspect is a black man in his mid 30s who stands 6 feet tall and weighs 175 pounds and remains at large.
Anyone with information about the robbery or recognizes the composite of the male suspect can call Burlington police at 229-3503 or Crime Stoppers at 229-7100.
