Governor candidate McCrory in car accident

SALISBURY (AP) - Republican candidate for governor Pat McCrory was involved in a minor car accident on his way to a campaign stop.
The Charlotte mayor's campaign said Wednesday that McCrory was traveling down a Salisbury street on his way to a campaign event when another vehicle hit the car he was in.
Neither McCrory or the campaign aide driving the car were injured. McCrory later traveled in the same vehicle to his scheduled event in Winston-Salem.
Neither driver has been charged.
