Youth on a Mission: St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church youth group
The young people of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in High Point traveled for the second year to McDowell Mission in Welch, West Va. , an area where many of the towns and counties have been hit financially. Several members of St. Christopher's grew up in that area. Some still have relatives in that general area. The young people repaired and painted a local resident's home, while installing a ramp since this person had trouble getting in and out of the home.

Dates: July 18-25
Purpose: To paint and repair a home, while installing a handicap ramp at the house.
Traveling party: 6 youth, 3 adults
