Anthony Polite, 23, is wanted by the Greensboro Police Department on charges of larceny of a firearm and obtaining property by false pretense.
Officers say Polite is wanted in a July 8 larceny at a home in the 7000 block of West Friendly Avenue in which an AK-47 assault rifle and an Xbox were stolen. The Xbox was later recovered from a pawn shop, but the assault rifle has not been found.
Polite is described as a black man, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was 2717 Patio Place in Greensboro.
Police consider Polite to be armed and dangerous.
Makalah Lanier, 19, is wanted by Greensboro police on charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
Officers say Lanier attacked 24-year-old Tiffany Potts on Jan. 11 along Juliet Place, causing several lacerations to the woman's arms. Lanier was arrested after the incident, but failed to appear for a June 23 court appearance.
She is described as a black woman, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes. She has a tattoos of the character Betty Boop on her left arm, "James" and a heart on her right arm, and "MOB" and a money bag on her neck. Her last known address was 700 Martin Ave. in Greensboro.
