A Greensboro woman was killed when she was struck by a train in Durham on Tuesday morning.
Carla Diane Bagley, 50, of Greensboro, was found by police near East Dillard and East Pettigrew streets about 7:30 a.m., according to police.
She had been hit by a train, police said in a news release.
Police said her death was not suspicious, but they would provide no further information.
Bagley was a former News & Record employee.
She was a features editor, People and Places editor and reporter. She left the newspaper in 2006.
