KEY QUESTIONS FOR WAKE FOREST
How will the Deacons sort out their offensive line?
With a combination of extreme youth (by Wake standards) and position changes. Redshirt freshman Dennis Godfrey has moved from defensive tackle to right guard, where he will back up Barrett McMillin. Godfrey's old spot will be filled by converted tight end Ted Randolph. True freshman Chase Raines, who enrolled in January, is listed as the backup at center to Trey Bailey. Another rookie, Joe Looney, is listed as Russell Nenon's understudy at left guard.
Senior Chip Brinkman, widely assumed to be a starting wide receiver, is behind Marshall Williams. What happened?
Marshall Williams -- not to be confused with WR Jordan Williams or any of the other four Williamses on the Deacons' roster -- is healthy after two seasons of injuries. Brinkman will play, but he may not be the No. 1 target.
The Wake defense is stable, isn't it?
Yep. This has to be the most experienced group in the country. Eight of the starters are fifth-year seniors. That's more fifth-year players than many programs have on their roster.
How can I get seats in Deacon Tower?
Exercise patience. Every premium seating option at Wake has a waiting list. About 1,100 total seats are available in the new Deacon Tower.
