GREENSBORO — The police department's violent crime task force will pass out fliers at 4 p.m. Wednesday in hopes of finding leads to solve a recent homicide.
Task force members will start in the parking lot of Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 1301 Alamance Church Road, then fan out into surrounding neighborhoods.
Greensboro police continue their search for Scotty Lamont Brice Jr., 18, of Greensboro, a suspect in the fatal stabbing of Elio Charcon Anderson II on the night of Aug. 21. Anderson was killed outside 2223 Acorn Drive while trying to break up an argument between the suspect and a woman.
In addition to first degree murder, Brice also faces charges of second-degree sexual offense, first degree burglary, assault on a minor and two counts of assault on a female.
