GREENSBORO — Charlie Wilson, En Vogue and Young Jeezy will highlight this year's N.C. A&T homecoming concerts.

The Aggie Alumni Homecoming Concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday. Ticket prices are $39 and $49.

Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com; by calling 852-1100 in Greensboro or 722-6400 in Winston-Salem; at Ticketmaster outlets at FYE and Macy's stores; and at the coliseum's advance box office.

Charlie Wilson, formerly the lead singer for the Gap Band, sang on four No. 1 R&B hits as well as the band's classic songs. In addition to his Gap Band hits, Wilson will also perform his acclaimed solo material from albums including 2005's "Charlie, Last Name Wilson."

R&B supergroup En Vogue (more here and here) has sold more than eight million albums. The group was the Soul Train Music Awards "Entertainer of the Year" in 1993.

The Aggie Homecoming Concert, sponsored by the university's Student Government Association, will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Greensboro Coliseum. Young Jeezy, T-Pain, Shawty Lo, Plies and Rick Ross will perform.

Tickets for that event are $34.50 and go on sale at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Tickets are available at the same venues as the alumni concert and online. Tickets are $39.50 at the gate.

Atlanta-based Young Jeezy has a new album, "The Recession," due out in September. His "Let's Get it: Thug Motivation 101" hit the No. 2 spot on the Billboard album chart and was the BET Hip-Hop CD of the Year in 2006.

T-Pain, from Tallahassee, Fla., will release his third studio album this fall. In February, he won a Grammy for Best Rap Song for the hit "Good Life" with Kanye West.

Shawty Lo, aka Carlos Walker, from Atlanta, reached national prominence by ushering in the "snap dance" craze with the Billboard-topping "Laffy Taffy" as part of his four-man crew, D4L, in 2005.

Plies, from Fort Myers, Fla., hit No. 2 in the Billboard Top 200 last summer with his debut album "The Real Testament."

Rick Ross' second album, "Trilla," debuted at No. 1 of the Billboard 200 in March thanks to the hit single "Speedin" featuring R. Kelly.
