Do you want a voice beyond just one vote in the 2008 general election?
If so, check out Voterspeak, the News & Record's way of getting people together to talk about news and politics in the upcoming races for local, state and national offices.
And we want you to join a panel of people to talk about it all online.
We'll ask you for your thoughts on things ranging from bond issues in Greensboro to where presidential candidates eat pie on campaign stops. (What does blueberry pie say about a candidate?)
Anyone can sign up, whether passionate or apathetic, single or married, old or young, poor or rich.
Just go online and fill out a questionnaire to give us an idea of who you are.
From that, we'll select groups of people with different perspectives and backgrounds, ask you a question or two each week and put responses up online in a blog format.
If you can write a couple of paragraphs and send an e-mail, then you've got the technical know-how to get on board.
We'll do the rest.
Click here to fill out the questionnaire and let us know you want to get involved.
Not all of the newspaper's content appears online.
