HIGH POINT -- Police have charged a man in a weekend shooting.
At 3:37 a.m. on Aug. 2, officers responded to a shooting at 895 Beaumont Ave. They found Juan Armas-Lopez, 25, lying in the front yard; he had been shot multiple times.
Armas-Lopez underwent surgery to remove the bullets and is expected to recover from his injuries, police stated in a news release.
Earlier this week, police obtained a warrant charging Irvin Bravo, 30, with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Police said Bravo is considered dangerous and goes by several aliases. He has not been apprehended.
Police ask anyone who knows the location of Irvin Bravo to call them at 883-3224 or High Point Crimestoppers at 889-4000.
