3 more join Wyndham field
GREENSBORO - Angel Cabrera, Zach Johnson and Paul Casey have officially joined the field for next week's Wyndham Championship, tournament organizers announced today.
All three are among the top 50 golfers in the world. Cabrera was the 2007 U.S. Open champion and Johnson was the 2007 Masters champion.
These players join a Wyndham Championship field that already includes defending champion Brandt Snedeker, Vijay Singh, two-time winners Davis Love III and Rocco Mediate, Tim Clark, Carl Pettersson, Lucas Glover, David Toms, David Duval, John Daly and 2007 British Amateur champion Drew Weaver.
The 2008 Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 11-17 in Greensboro.
