GREENSBORO — Four people forced their way into a Walker Avenue home Monday night and stole money and electronics.

Greensboro police said the residents of 1711 Walker Ave. answered a knock on the door at about 10:38 p.m. Monday. The four men outside pushed their way in.

Police said one of the suspects fired a shot inside the house. The bullet struck the wall but injured no one. One resident, Kyle Kenny, 23, was hit in the head with a butt of a gun. Police did not say if Kenny was taken to a hospital, and his condition was unavailable Tuesday morning. Two other people in the house, 24-year-old Michael Banner and an unidentified 23-year-old woman, were not hurt.

Police said the suspects took cell phones, wallets, cash, iPods, a Playstation game console and marijuana. Police had no suspect information.

Anyone who knows more about this incident can call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.
